Vinyl Artwork / Sleeves / Label / Booklet Requirements and Templates

Precision is key: Proper bleeds, dimensions, formats, and color profiles ensure your vinyl packaging prints cleanly and aligns correctly, no white edges, no blurry text.

Give these templates along with the instructions to your Graphic Designer or if you are familiar with Adobe Illustrator yourself:

Understanding Bleed #

Most templates include a bleed area, usually 3 mm, marked in red. If your design includes images or colors that go to the edge of your sleeve, let them extend into that bleed. This ensures nothing unwanted shows up at the edge after trimming.

Cover:

• Document size: 673 mm x 358 mm (any other size will be rejected).
• Images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (ppi) or they will be grainy in print.
• Save as PDF/X-4 CMYK Colour Space.
• Set Output Intent Profile Name as Coated Fogra39.
• Don’t include crop and printer marks

Sleeves:

• Document size: 648 mm x 349 mm (any other size will be rejected).
• Images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (ppi) or they will be grainy in print.
• Save as PDF/X-4 CMYK Colour Space.
• Set Output Intent Profile Name as Coated Fogra39.
• Don’t include crop and printer marks.

12″ Labels:

• Document size: 106 mm x 212 mm (any other size will be rejected).
• Images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (ppi) or they will be grainy in print.
• Save as PDF/X-4 CMYK Colour Space.
• Set Output Intent Profile Name as Coated Fogra39.
• Don’t include crop and printer marks.

Booklet:

• Document size: 640 mm x 340 mm (any other size will be rejected).
• Images should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi (ppi) or they will be grainy in print.
• Save as PDF/X-4 CMYK Colour Space.
• Set Output Intent Profile Name as Coated Fogra39.
• Don’t include crop and printer marks.
