In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through the entire process, from creating an account to syncing your lyrics in real time on Spotify.

Step 1: Create a Musixmatch Account #

  1. Go to Musixmatch.com pricing page
  2. Click on “Continue free”
  3. Choose to sign up with Google, Facebook, Apple or Email.
  4. Verify your email address to complete registration.

Step 2: Apply for a Verified Artist or Curator Account #

To add lyrics to Spotify, you need a verified Musixmatch artist or curator account.

  1. Go to Musixmatch for Artists
  2. Click on Sign Up as an Artist
  3. Log in using your Musixmatch account.
